Hempacore One 43600 is a one-component, solvent-based, intumescent fireproof material used in commercial and public buildings, stadiums, exhibition halls, airports and many other civil structures. According to AS4100 obtained third-party certification, Hempacore One can provide up to 120 minutes of effective fire protection in a cellulose fire, optimized for 90 minutes.

Hempafire Pro 315 is a one-component, solvent-based, intumescent coating used for passive fire protection of structural steel to resist cellulosic fires. It also passed AS4100 third-party certification, optimized for 60 minutes, and provided some additional protection for fire durations of up to 90 minutes.

Hempacore One and Hempafire Pro 315 can be applied to all steel profile types, providing efficient fire protection for beams, columns and hollow structural steel profiles, making them a versatile solution for in-store and on-site applications.

Specifiers have design and specification flexibility, thanks to their high finish and wide fire duration and the type of steel sections that can be protected. These two products have a smooth surface after drying, which can provide excellent decorative effects for steel structures. Aesthetically, no topcoat is required to obtain a visually attractive finish.

The dry film thickness of each layer of Hempacore One can be up to 1500 microns (60 mils), while the dry film thickness of Hempafire Pro 315 can be up to 1600 microns, providing the required protection with fewer coatings when needed.

An additional advantage is that Hempel can flexibly customize a coating solution suitable for any project, thanks to a wide range of primers and topcoats that have been approved for use. A paint supplier with a single source can provide customers with assurance and eliminate the complexity of paint compatibility.

Having a system compatible with the best primers, intumescent layers and topcoats ensures protection against corrosion, weather and fire. Hempacore One and Hempafire Pro 315 are developed to withstand various weather and exposure conditions, and are tested according to the stringent requirements of international standards and third-party certifications, including CE marking, Certifire and ApplusFire. Durability is a key factor. Corresponding tests have been carried out in different types of accelerated weather and corrosion tests and evaluated by real exposure tests in different locations around the world.

Hempacore One and Hempafire Pro 315 are specially developed for civil structures, easy to apply, fast running, and allow many different steel parts to be covered in one layer of coating. Simple and flexible application characteristics improve construction productivity and efficiency.

Due to the low loading capacity, Hempafire Pro 315 can provide excellent fire protection. Compared with similar products on the market, the average paint film thickness can be reduced by up to 20%, thus significantly shortening the drying time. As a result, coated steel parts can be processed or overcoated faster, thereby reducing bottlenecks and increasing the throughput and efficiency of off-site applications in paint shops.
